I Just Moved To Dallas: Looking For Fellow Mommy Friends
My 3 year old son, Colin, and I just moved to Dallas from Chicago. I've only been here since mid-Febuary. I find it hard to find other moms in Dallas that I have anything in common with. I'm hoping to find a few friends to connect with. I'd really like to make the transition for both me and my son a little easier by connecting with some families and developing new friends here in Dallas. Where's a good place to start? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

I would search for a MOM's club international group. Google for the chapter closest to you. The library story times are also a good place to meet other moms. What about Gymboree, mysym, or little gym? Where are you in Dallas? MOPs is also a great place to meet other moms. You can google for the group closest to you. Welcome to Texas!
Editing to add: also meetup.com is a great place to search for moms groups and meetups for girl night outs.

Try meetup.com. When I first moved here, I found mom's groups and playdates through that. I also made friends at the library storytimes and fitness classes like "Zumba with Baby/Toddler" at Move Studio.
