Not a good pap.

I've had HPV since 09' just now after baby I had it checked...he said my cervix didnt look too bad just mild abnormalities...but my pap came back with high levels. He thinks it may be the canal of my cervix, he wants to do a biopsy then if it is..a cone leep.

I'm freakishly scared that it's already cancer. Last time I had a biopsy in 09' they said something about level 2 abnormalities...and now high levels.. I'm worried. I also can't have the procedures done until September. Has anyone else had anything like this?

    I think I had a crappy GYN for, like, 10 years who never followed through with my abnormal paps.

    When I started going to who turned out to be my OB, I had a few abnormals in a year and she did a biopsy and then a LEEP.  The biopsy was WAY WORSE than the LEEP!

    Sorry. :( I haven't had any experience, but I have heard it's common for people to have abnormal paps in the few months following delivery. I'm not sure if that pertains to this issue...

    I had the LEEP procedure done back in 2006 I think, it was a breeze compared to the biopsy (which they took about 5 biopsys).  Good Luck!

    I'm sorry. I had an abnormal pap caused by hpv in 07. I had to do the LEEP, colposcopy, and a D&C to get all of the precancerous cells. Since then, all my paps have been normal. Good luck. I know it can be worrisome.

    I had the third stage which is the last before it is actual cancer. I had a LEEP procedure and haven't had any issues since. It was really scary when the throw around the C word. Also, my best friends MIL didn't get a pap in 20 yrs and was having issues so she finally went to an OB and she had cervical cancer prety bad. Even with how long she had it for she is fine now. Also, my ob told me that cervical cancer is a pretty slow growing cancer.
