My girls are here!

A bit late on this, but my girls were born July 18th! Georgiana Marie weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz and Genevieve Louise was 4 lbs 15 oz. Both girls were head down so we went in for a scheduled induction at 37 weeks and at the last minute my Baby B (genevieve), who had been head down for 18 weeks, went transverse and we had to change plans to a c section. My hospital does not do breech extractions and there was something with Baby B's heart rate as the were monitoring that they just didn't like. I was devastated and cried the entire time, but looking back it was all totally worth these two sweet little baby girls. They are both healthy and happy babies, no NICU time! I'm a little over 2 weeks out from the surgery and feeling really good, much better than I thought I would. Still looking pregnant though, hoping that changes soon!

But really couldn't be happier! Looking forward to sharing and exploring this board as a new MOM!
