cramping vs. tummy upset? I can't always tell!

I go from constipation, to diarrhea constantly.  My lower stomach hurts because of this.  So much that I can't tell if it's cramps, or just an upset stomach.

Anyone else?

    ha ha.. Just wait until you're trying to figure out if you're feeling gas bubbles inside you or if you're feeling baby move!! Because you get sooo desperate waiting to feel baby move! Oh the joys of pregnancy!!

    Does the kicking ever hurt?

    And when they are kicking your bladder, do you all of a sudden feel like you need to run to the bathroom?

    In my case, sometimes the kicks hurt.  And the evening she turned from breech to head down took my breath away (both in the sense of pain and amazement).

    I never had a bladder kick that sent me running.

    I think it depends on the person (or maybe how strong LO is). The nurses were amazed at how strong LO's legs were in the hospital... as I nonchalantly said, "I know" since I had felt him kicking for so long!

    LO kicking or lying on my bladder was painful. I didn't need to run to the bathroom but I did feel like I needed to pee like a UTI.

    I have heard of the kicking cracking ribs before.. I never experienced any pain with baby's movements... I just always watched in amazement at how your belly morphs into different shapes, positions.

    I don't recall every feeling him kick my bladder either, but he was head down for a long time.

    This is my first pregnancy so I can't say, but I had a friend who thought her water broke and left work.  Turns out the baby kicked her bladder and she just peed herself.  Haha oh the stories.

    CloudBee, I have totally had trouble telling the difference at times also.   I hope you feel better soon! 
    Miscarriage in January 2012 at 8 weeks
    Subsequently diagnosed with low P4, LOR. MH DX low motility, varicocele

    Yes its gas pain, that is sharp vs the dull pain of cramps. & the gas passes quickly....well for me anyway. Ive had it and the bloating since the beginning. 

    As for kicking....I really cant remember. But i do remember my son getting in my ribs at night. its like whatever side I slept on hed wedge himself on my rib cage. That was the most painful thing for me. Id have to move all the time at night and push on him to get him to move. Hoping its not as bad this time.
