Pumped colostrum

My baby is 4 weeks old today. I have a few frozen 1-oz bags of pumped colostrum, and I am not sure what to do with them. I don't think that I should toss them, but I am wondering if I should save them for something (like if she gets sick), use them as they are, or mix them with regular breastmilk bottles.

Re: Pumped colostrum

  • I would use it sooner rather than later as colostrum is a laxative (for getting the meconium out) and you probably don't want that same effect in a few months.
