I got released from my RE this morning. Happy times and the baby waved to me during the ultrasound. Then I called my OB's office. She now only delivers at a hospital that is over an hour away from my house during non-rush hour. It could easily take me 2 hours to get there or even longer during rush hour. I don't think that is wise considering that over 30 babies are born on the beltway each year because their mothers don't make it to the hospital in time.
My OBGYN has been with me for 14 years and has done 4 multiple surgeries on me. Now I have to start over. I feel lost.
Re: I have to find a new OB
Sorry to about hear your OB- maybe she can refer you to someone you can trust?
I'm so sorry. I had to find a new Ob/gyn too because mine stopped practicing obstetrics. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with someone who was recommended by friends. I have my first appointment with her in 2 weeks and I can't wait to see the baby again. My RE released me last week.
Do you have friends who could recommend someone to you? Sorry you are starting over.
