I need a BIG yummy dinner tonight...fasting after for 2hr glucose

test in am.

What should I have for dinner tonight that is super yummy and hopefully will stick around until lunch time tomorrow? I am SO not looking forward to my 2 hour glucose test tomorrow. 

I had never heard of a 2 hour, but I guess my dr office changed their testing about a year ago to do the more "comprehensive testing" over 2 hours and 3 blood draws and it requires fasting.  I have my regular appt at 10am, so I will go in about an hour early to the lab, take the stinky drink and sit for an hour, hoping not to puke or pass out before my appt, and then sit around for another hour to wait until another blood draw. 

So what should I eat for dinner tonight? What sounds yummy to you.  I have to hit the store after work so what would you get?

    I'm in the same boat!! I have no idea what I want to eat and I need it to last! My 2 hour test starts at 9am as well :p

     I have been craving pizza so I might splurge but I was also thinking a buffet would be good too!

    Just finished dinner and sat to read the bump.. and you post reminded me I have my 2 hour tomorrow also... haaaaaaaaaaaaa wonder if I woulda forgot it??? 

    I had steak and broccoli........... and iced tea.... its 8 now... i'll have my last cup of water at 10 and then go to the butt crack of dawn test at the lab so i can justify the huge stack of french toast i plan on having after my test

    I ended up with bbq'd steak with mashed potatoes and home made coleslaw with jicama. Finished off with a big bowl of chocolate Oreo and mint brownie ice cream drizzled with magic shell fudge. Mmmm I feel like a cow! Moo
