I'm in a lot of pain today but I'm trusting that it's all completely normal and expected... (At least I'm trying to trust that it's all normal!)
My back is killing me... My uterus is aching (it's almost like I can physically feel it pulling and stretching)... And I think LO must be kicking my lady parts from the inside because every once in awhile I feel him/her move, followed by a sharp shooting pain down there! Ouch!
Anyone else dealing with annoying aches and pains of pregnancy today?

Thanks for the reassurance... I know it's all probably completely normal (after all--I'm in so much pain every month with a period so it's completely explainable that a growing and stretching uterus would also be painful at times) but it's a little disconcerting at the same time. Hoping those of us who are feeling discomfort are all able to relax and sleep tonight and wake feeling better tomorrow.
I had a persistent ache above my pubic bone and in my lady parts yesterday as well as a mild fever. I believe it was a UTI--within 12 hours of starting antibiotics/cranberry juice it was much better!
UTI's are very common in pregnancy so I just thought I'd mention it. It didn't burn the way previous UTI's did so I didn't think of it right away but sometimes the pressure from your uterus can make it hard to fully void and the infection can start in the bladder itself (it doesn't burn until it spreads to the urethra). When I described it to my NP she called in antibiotics right then.
I've already had one this pregnancy (around 11 weeks...). This cramping is slightly different and more intense... Everything was worse this morning so I called the doctor. They want me to take it easy today and will be fitting me in at 4:45 today... Possibly another UTI, dehydration, imbalanced electrolytes, or just over-doing it... Praying that's all it is and so thankful they are so understanding to bring me in for my peace of mind.
