4 month wakeful period?

what exactly is it?

dd has been sleeping through the night since about 8 weeks (sorry!) and even when i transitioned her there was no problem. in the last week ive stopped swaddling her arms, and the first few she was okay and seemed to do fine. the only problen was that when she would turn over to her stomach and sleep, she couldnt roll back so she would wine a bit and i would go in and turn her back over.  the last few nights ive been up once or twice doing that, as well as trying to get her to fall back asleep??? whats going on????

    Connor's only gotten about 5 hour stretches up until about 3.5 months.  Since then he's up every 2 hours through the night and his naps have gone to crap during the day.  He takes short naps now that last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.  Because of the crappy naps, he's up more and crankier than normal.

    My LO has been sleeping through the night since three weeks! The first week after she turned four months, she slept longer than ever (12 hours straight). We were on vacation and it was amazing. However by the next week, we are either waking once in the night or getting up around five. From what I've read it doesn't last too long, but we're going on three weeks.
