Trouble Falling Asleep at Night

My LO falls asleep very easily throughout the day, for her naps; however, at night, she screams at the top of her lungs for almost an hour to try and not fall asleep.  Once she is asleep, she stays asleep for the entire night.

Any suggestions on how to make her night to sleep routine easier?

  • Have you tried playing around with her bedtime? DD will fuss a lot if she isn't tired enough or if she is overtired. I have to catch her at the right time or she fights sleep.

I'd just play around with what time you are putting her down. GL mama!!

  • I couldn't agree more with the poster who discussed timing it right.  My baby cries like that too whenever I try to early or too late.  And her bedtime has changed as she's grown.  That sweet time of night when she's ready to go straight to sleep isn't the same time it used to be.  My baby actually goes to sleep much sooner than she used to.  Move it up for back by 15 minute increments every few days and see how she responds.
  • Thanks, ladies!  I will try this and see what happens =D
