December 2012 Moms

AW: Less than 60 work days!

Til maternity leave (minus weekends, holidays and vacation) !! :) I'm taking a week vacation before my actual mat leave starts, but I'm very excited!

I know it seems early, but I get a year and have no desire to work right up until I give birth.

Re: AW: Less than 60 work days!

It's so crazy when you put in a work day format!

I'm seriously trying to get DH to get a job in Montreal when his training is up next year. His company has an office there and I would love to get the fluck away from here. Although, my French is pretty minimal.

  • From what I've heard, Montreal is a pretty bilingual city so you'd probably be ok :)
  • oooh, all my fellow canadian early-leavers are making me reconsider my current decision to leave Dec 1 (EDD on the 12th).  60 days till you're off, wow!  It seems so much sooner when you put it that way.

my dream is to take the full year (Dec to Dec, but maybe mid-Nov?), then ask my employers to let me re-start after new years 2014 since we close for 10 days between xmas and New years and nothing much happens in December around here.

  • Wow that's amazing, I'm so jealous!!!

I'll be working until the contractions get too bad to concentrate.
