$6000. I mean I have insurance so I "only" have to pay $376 for losing my child but $6000 when an abortion is what, $300? That just seems out of control and is making me very sad. It's just wrong and unfair. Why is choosing to end the life of your baby cheaper than losing something so wanted. This is not about pro life/pro choice ( I am pro choice) but it just seems messed up that they are not even on the same level of pricing.

We get what seems to be a "new bill" each and every day....anesthesia, pathology here and there, OB, hospital this and that. We have spend SO much money on our 2 losses. And, the hysteroscopy I had in May? I want to say overall, the bill was $11,000. We have insurance, so we didn't have to pay the full amount, but I'd say we payed $1,000. I feel your pain.
I'm not crazy about any health care system in the world...whether it's the US, Canada's, UK's...they're all far from perfect, but no matter what, it's a stab in the gut every time a bill hits the mailbox

I am so sorry sweetie. The universe is so off kilter at times!
I'm so sorry. That is horrible. It took me a few weeks to even open any mail from the blood work or my doctors office. I'm glad they waited a little over a month to send this to me. Somehow I wish they could use a bit of my paycheck taxes toward moms of losses/infertlity treatments to help them cover these bills so they don't ever have to see them. In a perfect world.

Its never easy to get that stuff in the mail. Its just another painful reminder. In a way it would be so much easier to just get one bill. like Insurance pays for everything and then they bill you a consolidated amount. That way you aren't hit with random bills from little things you didn't anticipate months later.
I don't know, it just sucks having to pay anything to lose something you wanted so badly to keep.
Hugs
