Hey ladies, I know it was a source of a lot of heartbreak when I was going through my years of IF to be ambushed on FB with pictures of babies... and now it's even worse since sometimes you see pictures of babies that you don't even know, just because a friend liked or commented on it.
I stumbled upon this article and it claims to have a way around baby pictures (even allowing you to insert your own picture of whatever you want to see there instead) if you use Chrome as your browser. I don't use Chrome and haven't tested it out, but I thought I would share the article just in case this might help someone.
Feel free to share with the ladies on IF, I wouldn't feel comfortable posting there since I have a ticker/siggy pic and haven't been to that board in so long... I only keep up with you ladies here and on PAIF. Here's the link:

This is absolutely brilliant. Thanks so much! I've been saying it would be nice to finally have a browser that also blocked the barrage of baby ads I get, which are probably due to visiting sites like this.
I know Edwina mentioned using this through the nest instead. I wonder if that would help things or if it's more of my search history that makes things show up.
I read there are mixed reviews on it actually working...
It's amazing how much info companies can leach out of our internet usage. Kind of scary if you think about it. I know there was a link to get to this page through the nest, I used to have it bookmarked, but don't have it anymore. But yeah, FB picks up on every little thing you post about. As does Yahoo. I'll look at clothes at Old Navy and then log into Yahoo and there they are staring at me on the right side of my mailbox!
Thanks, she loved going swimming for the first time! And look at you, you're getting so close! Can't wait for you to have your little one.
