Whine / Brag Thursday

I think it has been a couple of weeks but I am remembering today.  Maybe because I want to whine

Whine:  The food we brought back from Vacation/Cabin went bad in the cooler I think,  I have been sick twice and DS once since getting home.  And I can link all previous meals to getting sick to that cooler.  I thought I threw out most food on Tuesday--but I Wednesday after eating a sandwitch for lunch I realized I missed the mircle whip (why I am sick again)

Brag:  DH has been very good about asking what he can do, talking care of DS when I am sick and even offereing to stay at home with DS when he was sick.

    Whine: I hurt my damn left shoulder while working out or sleeping wrong...Not sure which one...Sad

    Brag: Taking the day of tomorrow to play hookie and go to the OC and hit the Circus with the FamBam and might hit the beach too...we shall see Big Smile

    Whine: I'm crying at my desk right now because when I called my Grandpa to thank him for the check for Alex, it went to the answering machine and it was my Grandma's voice. I have not heard her voice in 16 months (She passed away April 4th last year). I was not expecting it and now I miss her all over again and hate that she was taken before getting to meet Alex.

    Brag: Alex's party is Sunday and I am excited for it. Also, XH and I are really getting along right now. I like hearing my other single-parent friends say they are jealous that we are working together so well.

    Whine: DD has been up for at least 2 hours every night the past three nights. I'm blaming it on teething. I'm exhausted. Also, DH wants to go golfing tonight after work. Usually I am all for him doing his activities and what not, but I'm so freaking tired I want some help tonight. AND his Mom is so kindly bringing over dinner tonight, but now that means I have to put on my happy face and be social without him there. :(

    Brag: DD is taking 5-7 steps now. She could probably take more steps than that but she gets SO excited that she throws her arms up and looses her balance. It is the cutest thing ever.

    Whine:  I am so tired of cleaning all the time.  DH was home for 4 days straight and didn't lift a finger, not even mow the lawn. n-o-t-h-i-n-g.  all because he was on 'vacation'.  i wish I could do that.  Angry

    Brag: Lilah's party is on Saturday, and I can not wait to give her all of her presents!!

    Whine: House is a MESS, and SO shows NO signs of pitching in. UGH.

    Brag: DD went to bed at 9:00 SHARP with no fighting. This makes day 5! SCHEDULED BED TIME HERE WE COME!
