Lets talk Halloween costumes

My LOs will be 7.5 months.  Don't really have a great plan for costumes so far.  Would love to hear ideas, what people are planning to do, or what has turned out well in the past.

    We're doing Harry and Hermione - a beloved, NON-ROMANTIC boy/girl pair. :-)

    Last year our oldest son was a firefighter and the twins were his dalmations (we bought ear bows from Build A Bear for our daughter's costume). I'm thinking of trying to do a Peter Pan themed group costume - oldest as Captain Hook and the twins as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. I've seen Thing 1 and Thing 2, one of the ladies here had Red Riding Hood and the big had wolf.

    I did cowboys- my guys were almost 1- but they made a cute pair.  Very easy too.

    My husband and all my kids are dressing up as the avengers. First year of doing a theme for us but then again about to have 4 kids.

    DS1 will be the big bad wolf and the babies will be the 3 little pigs. I had this picked since Jan lol. The babies will be 11 months for Halloween.

    We are doing superman and batman...but could be lois lane or cat woman for a boy girl pair :) ONe of my little guys naturally has the superman curl so it was an easy choice!

    no clue.  I was thinking chicken and the egg... but where do I find costumes for that.

    I think one of our MoMs has this in her siggy but I can't remember which one.

    Lately I've been thinking about dressing them up as Sour Patch kids because they can act so sour one minute then so sweet the next...just like the commercial.  Last year they were a monkey and a lion just becuase the costumes were cheap.

    Since mine will only be one month at the most, I found some crocheted mermaid outfits/cocoons on Etsy.  Wouldn't work for an older child unless they like their legs in a bag sort of thing.
    Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Yes, I know who you're talking about, her UN is Thiswillbe.  I like the chicken/egg too.  Another thought is a cowboy & Indian.  I feel it's harder to have a coordinating pair with b/g twins.  For now I want them to coordinate, because when they're older doubt they'll agree to whatever costume I like.  Ha.
