I don't see why not, especially if they haven't had a reaction to any other citrus fruits. We gave L peeled kiwi around 8 months, but we seem to have introduced things earlier than most people.
Yes, it's fine - but don't give too much as the acid can irritate their tummy (and it can also cause a nasty diaper rash). Kiwi is healthiest if the skin is left on (just rub the fuzz off of it) but most babies can't tolerate or chew the skin, so you'll probably want to cut that part off. They will poop out the black seeds, so don't worry about picking those out - they can eat them just fine (just makes for a weird looking diaper). Kiwi was my son's favorite for a long time!
Kiwi was one of D's first foods... I mixed it (peeled and pureed) into pears. That might be a way to introduce it if your LO is finicky about new tastes. Ditto the pp about the seeds in the diaper. It was totally fine, but it sure got my attention!
I also gave LO kiwi early on. He never seemed to have a problem with it. I think every baby is different. If you LO seems to tolerate foods well then you should give it a go!
A seems to love them right now, and she has a very sensitive stomach. She only gets maybe at most a half a kiwi at a time though. No skin, but fruit and seeds are fine.
I think you should be fine unless someone in your family has an allergy. I am VERY allergic to kiwi fruit, although I did not get the allergy until I was in my 20s. The last time I had contact with kiwi was b/c it had touched another fruit and I went into anaphylactic shock. therefore, I am a bit hesitant to feed kiwi to DD.

I found this website useful when it came to feeding him when he was a baby: https://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com
