A year ago today, I woke up an hour late to my repeated c-section, and frantically ran around with my big ol' belly trying to get ready. I was rescheduled for 11am. As I walked into the hospital at 9:00am, I went into real labor! I had very strong contractions and was dialating quickly! The doctor didn't get to me until 1:15pm, and Lydia was born at 1:32pm via repeat c-section.
When I first saw her, I cried happy tears. Besides my son, she was one of the most gorgeous babies I have ever laid my eyes on. I never want to let that moment go out of my mind, and will cherish it forever.

And yes-- I did cry this morning on my way to work.
