We made it ladies...or are close....What a long way we have come!
All the babies turning one makes me want to cry...
Looking back what are somethings you would change?
Hardest part of being a new Mommy?
Best thing about being a new Mommy?
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old?
That one thing no one told you about....
Feel free to add more...
Re: A year...
Looking back what are somethings you would change?
Since it was my last baby, I wish I waited this time to find out the sex.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy?
Balancing work and motherhood. It's tough only seeing my kids 3 hours a day.
Best thing about being a new Mommy?
Seeing that you brought a little you into the world.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old?
Bittersweet. I am happy we survived the first year (HA!), but am sad my youngest is growing up.
That one thing no one told you about....
That baby girl's can have their period right after birth. This happened to my daughter. Thankfully-- I found that out here on TB right before I had her. Thanks, ladies! lol
All the babies turning one makes me want to cry...
Looking back what are somethings you would change? I think I would have at least tried to breatfeed.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? No sleep! Not knowing what to expect.
Best thing about being a new Mommy? watching him grow and learn new thing each and everyday. Also the amout of love that you feel for something one you have just met.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? It is CRAZY! I am excited to see what is to come but I am so worried I will mess him up or he will get hurt or something...know he will be on his own more and more scares me.
That one thing no one told you about....How fast they grow. The working mother thing. It is so hard to take him to daycare. Also that you def need time to yourself and couple time with a child!
Looking back what are somethings you would change? I honestly can't think of anything right now. I'm SURE there is something though.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? Going back to work.
Best thing about being a new Mommy? The amazing love and protection you have immediatly for this little being.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? Amazed how fast a year went. And sad that in a few months she won't be my "baby" anymore.
That one thing no one told you about.... How much teething sucks.
Looking back what are somethings you would change? Absolutely nothing! I feel as though Logan is a wonderful baby and I think we have done a great job with him.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? Leaving him at daycare. I hate it. I wish I was home all day with him sometimes.
Best thing about being a new Mommy? looking at this amazing person that I basically created. I love watching him do things and learn things. I love picking out things he gets from me or from DH.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? I feel old, and I totally have the baby bug biting. Logan is so fun, I want to do it all again. I know, I am crazy!
That one thing no one told you about....I was told but didnt realize how much you could truly love something. I knew I would obviously love him but its such an amazing love that I feel like I never knew before he was born.
Looking back what are somethings you would change? Honestly nothing
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? Working full time and having to leave.
Best thing about being a new Mommy? Knowing it is not just me and DH anymore...That there is a little person who is part me and part DH and just watching him grow and learn everyday.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? For me it is a little scary only because it went by sooooooo fast.
That one thing no one told you about....How hard it would be to BF. I really thought it would be easy and come natural but I am still proud of how long I BF/EP for.
Looking back what are somethings you would change? I can't think of anything. I think I would stay the same
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? Knowing what to do and when to do it! And working
Best thing about being a new Mommy? Watching him grow, learn, explore and just be AWESOME!
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? Tired
but I love it!
That one thing no one told you about....The always changing of a baby. Just when you get a schedule down or figure how to "fix" something... that cute lil bundle of joy changes and you need to figure it out all over again. ( Can you tell we are STILL having SLEEP issues)
Looking back what are somethings you would change? I would offer a bottle sooner so I could get some help with the feedings.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? The demands of breastfeeding
Best thing about being a new Mommy? Realizing how much love you can have for someone
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? Happy and sad. I love the level of interaction right now and watching her figure things out. But sad, because she's a toddler now, not a baby...
That one thing no one told you about.... Breastfed babies DON'T eat every 2-3 hours, like everything I read beforehand said. More like every 1.5 to 2 hours. At least that's how DD was in the first few months.
Looking back what are somethings you would change? I would have pumped and stored milk well before returning to work.
Hardest part of being a new Mommy? Sleep deprivation and baby teething.
Best thing about being a new Mommy? Watching my amazing DD grow and learn.
How do you feel being a mommy to a one yr old or almost one yr old? Relief: we're getting the hang of this.
That one thing no one told you about.... that babies are babies for a really long time (e.g. night awakenings).
Feel free to add more... I am glad someone told me I could take off LOA for longer than FMLA and could work reduced full-time. I can better enjoy being a working Mom.
Congrats, all!
