I'm 10 days late, have been actively TTCing and I've taken 4 HPT and all have been negative. I'm scheduled for a blood test on Monday if still no AF but I wanted to ask you ladies if any of you experienced a neg HPT and positive bloodwork?
I don't chart so I can't be 100% I'm "late" but my cycles are very regular at 28-30 days each month and I'm now on day 38.
Re: Anyone have neg HPT but turned out to be PG?
I hate this question. Tons of people TTC without charting at first. Maybe they just don't want all the extra pressure, maybe they want to be spontaneous, whatever. You don't have to go out and buy a BB thermometer and join up on FF the minute you want to start TTC.
I know it can be soo frustrating when you are always regular and then have an off cycle. I always had 26 day cycles and then one month while TTC I had a 36 day cycle. I agree it can be from the stress. I just wanted to start my period again so that I could start trying again. I agree - don't waste $$ on blood test.
I agree, Uhh, come on, The bump is disillusioning you. Sex gets you pregnant, not charting. Charting can certainly aid in it, but gese sex is what it comes down to. It is completely possible to get pregnant without charting! We were actively TTC for about 5 months, I chose not to chart because I didn't want too, but we had sex often and I paid attention to general signs and my cycle. and I am pregnant.
Now to the OP- Don't bother with a blood test, everyone can have off cycles. If you don't get your period in 60 days then see your Dr. most likely you are not pregnant. Don't waste your money time and the Drs.

I agree, some of actually conceive without temping every day.
Agree.. ridiculous question.
I have never charted and now on my second pregnancy. I dont think charting does a whole lot.
Not everyone charts when they're TTC. It's not a requirement
I didn't chart or temp with my DS or with this baby.
My little man at 0-1-2
With DD I didn't get a + HPT until I was a week and a day late.
When TTC with DS I was late with a neg HPT and I was not ovulating which was not really fun.
Also, I've never charted. If you have pretty normal cycles, you don't really have to do so. Yes, it will give you more information, but plenty of women never chart, get pregnant and have perfectly healthy babies. Charting just gives you more information. It's not required to have a baby. Enjoy the trying "process"!
I must politely disagree with you. Charting does a whole lot. It made me stress out, and turn sex into a chore instead of a way of being intimate or just getting down with our bad selves. It made me freak out 14 days out of the month and it made me spend loads of money on OPK's and EPT's that I used month after month without a positive result. It made me see a RE, and start injections (which caused me to bring home a dog in a moment of hormone induced insanity). Finally, after four years, I gave up. I said I was tired of it all, and so was DH. We started planning a life of travel with our DD. I was pregnant the next month. So I must politely disagree. Charting does a whole lot... of not good sometimes.
I agree. Charting added so much extra pressure to the entire process. It took me almost two years to conceive my first child, and I was charting almost the whole time. Guess when I got pregnant? After I gave up all the ovulation kits, charting, temping, etc and let go of the entire TTC process and focused on living my life. I truly believe charting upped my stress level.
This time around, I was determined to avoid all that extra "stuff" Was pregnant in 3 months. Once you have a basic idea of your cycles, there is really no reason to take a temperature and chart every morning.
I charted and never temped...I just used OPK's and monitored CM. It was easier knowing around which days I probably O'd, knowing exactly when my period was, so there was less guesswork when I thought I was pregnant.
The best time to test is first thing in the am, when pee is most concentrated so if haven't already, try testing then. g
