Best Bottle?

I'm planning on breastfeeding, but will need to pump and bottle once I go back to work.  I know that all bottles are BPA-free now, but I still don't like the thought of plastic.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a great baby bottle?  Do they make glass bottles anymore?

Thanks!

Yes, they still make glass bottles. I didn't get them because I would drop it and don't want to deal with that and daycare doesn't allow glass bottles. You might need to try a couple different ones to see what your LO will take. We used Born Free for DS.

  • It depends on baby's preferences. Tommee Tippee worked well for us.

  • Everyone is going to say the one they used is the best.  Really it depends what your baby likes.  We liked Tommee Tippee.

  • I've heard great things about Dr. Brown's.  My very crunchy cousin swears by them.

  • My sister (mother of four) swears by the Dr. Browns so that's what I registered for.  They make BPA free bottles and glass bottles.

  • We use Dr. Brown's wide mouth bottles.  It's the only bottle we've every used and we exclusively FF.
  • I breastfed, and pumped at work with my first, and we used Breastflow.  Worked great!  My sister did the same, but with Tommee Tippee.  Never had a problem with either.
  • I BF and used Dr. Brown on occasion. Worked like a charm. But then again, I think we got lucky because I know of quite a few people who had to try many different ones first.
  • I will be breastfeeding and I got the Breastflow bottles. They're supposed to mimic breastfeeding. I've also heard Dr. Brown's and Tommee Tippee are good too.

  • My son had colic and reflux so we tried FOUR different bottles. Dr. Brown worked best for him. We also tried Avent and playtex and something else (can't remember). I really think it depends on what the baby likes.
