Eye color

Ok, May mamas. Have any of your LOs' eye color changed since they were born? I just can't believe that it can take up to a year for baby's eye color to settle! I want to know now! DD is still rocking the slate blue color eyes she was born with, thou they look a little lighter towards the pupil.

    Still blue, but a lot lighter. Which is the same as my oldest daughter. Hers have been the same colour since she was about 6 months old.

    I'm actually seeing brown start to spread. Not surprised -- I've got brown eyes, as does DD1.

    Brownish green here. I fully expect them to be chocolate or light brown. Although, they look like they could go yellow. My nieces eyes ate gold. My eyes are blue. Just a bit of trivia, babies born with BLUE eyes, not that slate blue but actual BLUE, almost always stay blue. My eyes are the color I was born with.

    My LO's were that slate blue to begin, now looks like they may be turning brown. We were hoping for green, like mine!

    They look like the have lightened and one eye has a brown spot.

    Almost 2 months & still blue! I really expected brown (my eyes are brown & DH's are blue). Especially since her hair is brown the blue does surprise me. But chances are when she's a little older, her hair will be blonde until she's a teen like me & DH were.

    I feel like such an idiot but...what is this "slate" blue people speak of? I feel like I am the only person ever to have never heard of this term!

     

    Its like a dark grayish blue. Like the ocean on a stormy day.

    Brown hair & blue eyes run in my family. I didn't get either but my sister did. Lovely combo!

    DS's eyes were that dark blue when he was born and they have lightened to more of a true blue. I really am hoping that he stays blond hair blue eyes or green eyed because he looks just like his dad and really not like me at alll ;( DH is brown hair brown eyes so if he could at least retain my coloring I would.be very happy.

    He was born with dark blue. They are slowly turning hazel :) Mine are hazel.

    They are mainly a grayish blue but now have a little bit of green like my DH.  But that doesn't surprise me.  DS looks so much like DH already!

    Her eyes are blue now. Mine are a hazel green and husbands are a hazel blue. Im hoping her eyes are more like his so far yes. My eyes are pretty cool color to but i like the blue hazel.

    DD's are still a light blue. Mine are blue and DH's are a really light brown, almost a topaz color. They are actually really pretty but I am pulling for blue so she at least has one of my features!

    DS2's are a true blue. I was surprised because DH has brown eyes, I have green, and DS1's have been brown since birth. The only people in our families that have blue eyes are great grandparents! I think they might stay, they haven't changed at all.
