Where to find a Doula?

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a doula? I  looked on the DONA website and only found one in my area and she is not taking patients at this time.

    I had one lined up that I found thru a referral on here.... Her name is Karleen, she is from the Macomb area but would travel to my hospital that was HFWB.   I never used her tho because my lil guy decided to become breach at the last min and I had a c-sec.

    Wow! Really? Others are allowed to suggest doulas, but when I offer my own services that's not ok? That's ridiculous! This mom is looking for a doula and I am one... why am I not allowed to inform her of that?

     I don't make the rules. Read the TOS. Also, when people post looking for a rec they want honest feedback from others that have used that service. Not people getting free advertising for their company. If you want to get clients from the bump you need to pay to advertise.
