when did you move your babies to their own room?

my twins were born at 32 weeks and will be 5 months old on the 5th. right now we still have them sleeping in our room in rock n play sleepers. I am kinda scared to move them to their room because in the beginning the threw up a lot and I never wanted them to sleep flat on their backs. now that we have changed formula they hardly ever throw up. I guess I am still scared becuase when they were 6 weeks old they were sent back to the PICU becuase 1 babies pulse ox was 56 and then 2 days later the other one completely stopped breathing and had to be given CPR.

    Ours never had reflux issues, but they did sleep in RnP's in our room until about 8 weeks. We tried moving them into their room and the cribs at that time, but it didn't go well. They slept in the RnP's in their room until 3 months. We moved them to their cribs and the first night was a little rough, but they have been sleeping fine since.

    Ours slept in our room in RnPs for about 2 months so they were 3 months old when we moved them to their cribs.  It was an easy transition.
    Diagnosis: DOR and MFI-low everything IVF #1 = triplets! 2 girls and a boy! Born Sept 29, 2011 at 32w6d due to Pre-e and HELLP syndrome Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    Ours slept in their snuggle bunny seats in our room for the first 5 weeks. I only moved them because they weren't sleeping well in there anymore. I moved them into the same crib swaddled and just separated them and put them in sleep sacs at night starting last week. It was scary to switch them both into their own room but having a good video monitor made all the difference for me.  If you don't have a video onion I would think about getting one just for the piece of mind. We have the summer one that you can scan between cameras - we have one camera on each crib. Good luck!

    It sounds like you could use a good pep talk from your pediatrician.  Without my pediatrician's reassurance, I know I would have been too terrified to leave them alone otherwise.  In fact, I was nervous at every transition -- stopping swaddling at night, using blankets, leaving a stuffed animal in the crib, etc.

    They slept in our room in RnPs until they were 6 weeks old.  When they hit 6 weeks they went to their own nurseries in their own cribs.
    U/S#1 showed 2 heartbeats! U/S#2 showed Baby A's heartbeat was 157 and Baby B 's heartbeat was 183! U/S#4 showed Baby A is a Boy (heartbeat 161) and Baby B is a Girl (heartbeat 159)!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers
