Pooping awake?

LOL so I have noticed an interesting pattern with LO over the past few days.... and I miss my old non-fussy baby :-/

In the mornings, he used to take a 2-3 hour nap. Now I am lucky if he makes it an hour (normally 30-45 min). I have noticed that he normally wakes up with poop in his diaper. I can understand him waking up when poop is hard and pellet-like because then he's constipated and it can be painful for him. But it seems like he wakes when he poops anything. Anybody else have this problem? It was never an issue until recently...... but to be fair he has had some times where he woke and there was no poopy diaper. Last night I felt horrible because he was soo gassy he was waking himself up consistantly (he goes to bed at 6:30). Finally at around 8:30 he was awake again and I gave him a dose of ibuprofen to help with any pain ( a desperate measure) and it helped him sleep. Anyone else with something similar?

    Mine only poops while she is awake. She loves to go as soon as she wakes up. When they gotta go, they gotta go. I cant blame her for not wanting to sleep in a diaper full of sh*T
