Sleeping problem

My almost 9 month old is going down for bed and exactly one hour later he wakes up crying and then pushes himself up into a sitting position and continues to cry. I let him cry it out but it never works. I then proceed to bring him into our bed and he is fine from there on out till morning. Could it be teething? He has one with another on the way.... Do I need to sleep train all over again?? Help!!!!

What do you mean by "I let him cry it out but it never works"?  If you're going in and getting him, you're not letting him cry it out.  He'll learn that you're coming to get him and keep waking up at that time.  GL!

It sounds like he's just trying to master a new skill. This is very common. It will pass. Until then, I'd just go in and put him back in a laying down position, then high tail it outta there.
