Maeve Binchy and Gore Vidal

Maeve Binchy Died yesterday. She has been my favorite author for most of my life, and I own 85% of her books. I've been really looking forward to her newest, "A Week in Winter" and hoping that the next would, maybe, please, feature characters from "Circle of friends" (she did that sometimes) I think that book was the first 300+ page book I ever read. she was who made me dream of going to Ireland and a big influence on my UK obsession. RIP.

Gore Vidal has also died, which is very sad, but I'm not as personally connected.

This is no good for my pregnant hormones!

    I hadn't heard about Maeve Binchey passing away. I loved Circle of Friends, too. I haven't ready any of her other books, yet, but they are on my list to conquer.

    So sad.
