Cole??

My husband and I are having a hard time agreeing on ANY boys names. I love Dylan, which he dislikes, and it just goes on from there. He thought of Cole, which is actually growing on me, but I find it sort of hard to say. Any thoughts on this one?

DS has two friends named Cole. I think its a nice name, popular around me though.

I like Cole. I think it's strong and masculine, and has a bit of a "cowboy" feel (I believe it was the name of one of Jesse James' gangmembers, Cole Younger)--- though, at the same time, you could also get the "cool, jazzy, 1920's" vibe from it thanks to Nat King Cole.

I like it. It The only 2 I know are 13 and mid 30s, so not super popular right now. At least not around here.

I love Cole. It was on our list. We named DS Nicholas with the idea of calling him Cole but he is more of a Nick.

Until I had DS, I had never met anyone with the name (Just heard pop culture references...Nat King Cole, Cole Porter, movie/tv characters). And now I know one other...my Mom's neighbor who fully admits to getting the idea from us. lol
