So, I was baaaawling when USA won the team gymnastics gold medal.  lol  ooooh, the crazy emotional swings are here!

    Smile awww that's sweet! They just worked so darn hard! I once cried when someone won 100,000 on Wheel of Fortune, lol (NOT pregs) my H was like...seriously!??! they just looked so happy! hahaha

    Ugh I wouldnt have read this post if I would have known it was about the olympics! I have it recorded because I get up at 4am....please people put a warning in your titles!!!!

     

    On a seperate note (hugs) we all cry over random things right now :)

    For the ladies that are just finding out the outcome by reading this post about the girls gymnastics outcome. I found out on the news before watching it and was so disappointed. But it was kinda like watching a movie you already know the ending to but are still surprised how it led up to that point. I was on the edge of my seat watching it. Hopefully you will have the same experience when you watch it!

    OP - Awww, it was fun to watch for sure! 

    Instead of crying, I found myself getting irritated with the commentators who just seemed to focus entirely on Jordan Wieber and just gush over everything she did and just seemed to ignore the other 4 gymnasts.  And their bemoaning the fact that she didn't qualify for the all around.  How about talking about the two American women who are going to participate?  It was driving me crazy!  They've been pushing her story since the women's gymnastics started and it's just overkill at this point.

    I've given up trying to avoid spoilers.  No matter what I do, I always find out the results.  I'd have to drive to work with the radio off, avoid looking at anything on the computer all day.  Now I watch to see the excitement and first reactions of the athletes who win.
