Started stimming yesterday and now I'm hating life!

I took Menopur on my last IUI cycle and don't remember feeling such intense side effects as I am this time around. Granted, I am taking Menopur and Bravelle this time so maybe thats why its so different. Almost immediately after taking my shot last night I started having stomach pains. Luckily I fell a sleep pretty quickly, but today I am dizzy/nauseas and having EXTREME hot flashes! One minute i'm fine and then the next I'm sweating like pig! I really hope this lightens up as my body adjusts to all the medication. In the meantime, i feel bad for my hubby for the next 9 days!

Anyone else experience any of these side effects? Did it get better or worse for you?

    The first IVF I had no side effects but even though I did the same meds this last time I had hot flashes and nausea.  Luckily the hot flashes really only lasted about 3-4 days!!  The nausea was with me for most of the time though.

    Hopefully your body adjusts to them soon!

    Hmmm...it didn't even occur to me that my "holy hell I think they have the heat on in here" comments at work could be due to heat flashes from the meds.  HA! That must be it, because nobody else is hot. 

    Hopefully your SEs subside soon...

    Haha! That sounds exactly like me! I'm constantly fanning myself and everyone is wondering what my problem is. Oh the joys of infertility just keep on coming!

    I didn't have hot flashes, but definately felt "off".  I did get pretty bloated.  And headaches that would come and go.  Hoping it gets better for you!

    No stims yet on my end, so I don't have any advice, but I just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon!
    Married July 2011; TTC since April 2011; DX: MFI
    IVF #1 in August 2012: BFP!

    Thanks ladies!! I do feel better today. I have had a couple hot flashes but not nearly as bad, definately no sweat dripping down my forehead! My belly is still a little achy but again, its manageable. Hopefully my body has worked into a groove with all these meds :)
