Is it UTI or Pregnancy?

So far all day today, I've had this intense bloating pains that feel like cramping, but in my stomach... I did take a pregnancy test yesterday (Monday) and it was positive, but this stomach pain is making me wondering.... only because the last time this happened ( I did not have a positive pregnancy test) I was told I had UTI. So this is definitely keeping me wondering... I've got my prenatal scan on Friday (still THREE DAYS AWAY ARGH!) I wish the days would go by quicker... just the next three days... please....!!!

    Well if you got a positive test you are indeed pregnant, but it is possible to have a UTI too...they are really common during pregnancy.

    Thanks, I'm just waiting to get the blood test to make it official. And I've been researching all over google about false positives.... but looks like a UTI does not cause a false positive.

    Could be both. I'd try to get in sooner than Friday so you can get the proper antibiotics if it is one.

    It is probably both. I see a ticker so odds are you've confirmed your pregnancy. You can get cranberry pills (if you can't stomach the cranberry juice) and water water water. Try not to hold your pee very long and don't use soap down below. Just warm water. Also, remember to wipe front to back.

    Pregnancy can cause a bunch of UTI/bladder problems. Towards the end of my pregnancy with DD I felt like I had a constant bladder/kidney infection.
