I survived my 1st long weekend away!

DH and I went to the races and camped from Friday morn until Sunday afternoon/evening.  I was so worried that K would be fussy the entire time, not sleep and generally not be her happy self. BUT - she did awesome! I was so happy! My mom came and stayed at our house Friday morning until Saturday afternoon, then H's grandma kept her Saturday night and Sunday until we got home.  They both said she was such a happy girl, hardly fussed and slept well.  It was such a relief to hear that she was easy for them.  By Sunday morning I was more than ready to get home! But, at the same time i'm very happy that I dont have to be away from her for that period of time any time soon!!

Has anyone else had more than one night away from LO?  How did it go for you?

    Mav has only been away one night and that was hard. I can't imagine how hard it was for you. Mav stayed with my mom and did great, I'm glad she did awesome while you were away! I'm kinda anxious, in November my H and I are in a wedding and we have to leave Mav for 2 nights with H's mom. At least he'll be 6 mo by then!
