Before we got pg, I was learning how to do acrylic nails (just for my own pleasure). I was getting pretty good at making good smile lines and was experimenting with 3D art, like flowers. Then a week or so after my bfp, I can't even stand the thought of it. It's not even the smell (I did it outside on my awesome porch, so ventilation wasn't an issue), I don't know what it is, but the very thought almost makes me gag. I had to pick off all my nails because even looking at them was making me ill.
Anyone have a weird aversion?

This for me, too. The worst is the smell of hay. I gag at the smell of grass and hay, I even cringe just looking at my horses now.
I also have the same exact aversion to fragrances that I had when I was pregnant with my son. Just hearing the shower running makes me salivate like I have to barf. I've started using unscented soap and shampoo, and my armpits are disgustingly ripe because I can't use deodorant. My wonderful husband has stopped wearing deodorant, too - bless him!! After my son was born, it took me almost a year to wear deodorant again. And, I gag when I smell ladies' perfumes when I'm grocery shopping.
