I prefer Annabel. It's not overly frilly. I have considered the name in the past. Middle names I have considered with it were family names. Jane and Marie.

  • Honestly, I think they all look ok but I voted Annabelle.

  • I voted Annabelle.  I would pronounce it An-na-belle.  For Anabelle I'd pronounce it Ah-na-belle (like Ana, Anastasia etc).  Two ns denote the An-na sound.

MN:  Something one syllable:  Claire, Jane, Jean, Joan, June, Joy, Joyce, Kate, Lynn, Paige

I'd stay away from:  Mae, Sue and Faye to avoid sound too country.

  • I like Jane as the middle name.

  • I like Anabelle. "Annabel" looks incomplete without the e on the end, and Annabelle looks thrown together to me with the double n's and l's.

  • I just posted this same question last week :-)

We decided on Annabel because it's more traditional and I think it goes better with DS Oliver.

I like  Annabel Claire or Annabel Grace.

  • I like the first two choices better.
  • I voted for Annabel because of the literary connection, but if you like a "fancier" look I would choose Annabelle.

  • Anabelle-I considered this name before. I absolutely love it. Classic, pretty, just lovely...We decided against it because we didn't want it to be shortened to Anna...
