Parenting after a Loss

Mylicon..

Those of you who suggested that I try using mylicon gas drops on my DS to help relieve some of his gas issues.. has anyone used the generic version?  None of my local stores carry Mylicon brand anymore.. I was going to get the equate version and try that..

TIA.

Re: Mylicon..

  • We always used the generic.  It's the same main/active ingredients.

I used the equate brand it seemed to work as well as all of the other brands.  FWIW, I never tried Mylicon because I couldn't find it so I'm not sure how it compared.  DD was still a gassy little kid even with the drops, but giving them to her made me feel at least a little better.

  • Yep, I used target brand gas drops and they were just fine. FWIW, gripe water worked a bit better for us. If you haven't tried it, it's worth a shot. DD had gas pains.

I used Target too.  It is much cheaper than some of the brand names and works just as well.
