2 month check-up

We go for my LO's 2 month check up on Thursday and I'm dreading the shots! I felt so bad for her after her 1 month vaccine and she was very fussy from it as well.

I was wondering how your LO's did with the vaccines, did they have any reactions? I'm a FTM and a bit paranoid when it comes to my baby girl lol

No reactions here. Dr said we could give him 2.5mL of baby Tylenol afterwards to help with any discomfort. He did good!

Yup, what PP said. She's been a little extra fussy and wanted to be held a bit more but she still went to sleep around her normal time. She slept almost double what she normally does during the day, though; I hear it's pretty common for them to be worn out afterwards.

It's harder for us than it is for them! Just relax and she will pick up on it and be fine!!

Aaron did pretty good with the shots. We came home and he fell asleep. Then, he woke up a few hours later screaming horribly. I'd just make sure you have Tylenol for your little one!

This was our experience as well. Get Tylenol before you go.

If you BF, BF right away, and that will calm them somewhat. I hate that they make you hold them while they do it. Our appt is Thursday.

Maddie didn't have any trouble with the shots, but the rotavirus vax (the oral one) she had a reaction to. She projectile vomited every where. She won't be getting the next 2 doses of it.
