  Its the proximity to the platform when they jump.

  I fell off a freaking springboard when I was 7 and ended up with an open wound from my ankle to my knee.

  Just watching them makes me sick thinking of all the serious injuries that are possible.

  I get all nervous when they go to do a back dive, so they back their heels off the edge of the platform. My legs would be shaking and I'd fall. Which is why I'm not an Olympic Diver. Hahaha.
