Hi all,
I have a 9 month daughter that I have been wearing in a ring sling from day 1 but now that she's getting older and heavier, I'm finding the ring sling uncomfortable on my back and shoulder and she doesn't seem comfortable either. Is it how I'm wearing the sling? I've tried all the ways the manual says to try but I can't find one that seems to work. Should I try a different type of carrier and could I get some recommendations? I don't like the bjorn or harness type carriers if that makes sense. Thanks!
Re: Carriers for older babies/toddlers
I found around 9mths DD1 got too heavy for a sling. I needed the comfort of having the weight spread between two shoulders rather than one shoulder taking it all.
I love my woven wraps. You can wear LO on your back, front or hip. There's a bit of a learning curve to tying them but it's worth it in my opinion.
