Hey ladies!!
I don't know how many of you recognize me, but I used to be a regular on this board. I just wanted to come and give an update of myself. As you can see in my siggy, IVF #1 started June 16, I used BCP for 4 1/2 weeks, Lupron alone for a week, and then stimmed for 10 nights. To say that this IVF cycle has been a roller coaster would be an understatement. Things started off really slowly, and we even thought that we may have to cancel at one point. Eventually my E2 and follies caught up, but today we only retrieved 7 eggs.
I am disappointed, but trying to stay hopeful! I keep telling myself that even if this is not my cycle, it was a great learning experience for IVF #2. The good news is that I feel much better than I expected to!
So that is just a small update on me, I will update when I get my fert report tomorrow! FX for a great one.
P.S. Where's my ladies at?!?
Re: Long time no talk!
Hi there
I'm new to the board but I can Relate. I had my E.R. (for ivf #2) last week and only got 5 eggs. Remember, it only takes one!! Sending you positive thoughts for a great fert report!! :-)
Ticker warning!!!
Hey I am so glad to see your update!!! Congrats on your 7 eggs! I have seen it done with one! i am looking forward to hearing your fert report!!! Are you doing icsi? Im glad you feel well! Get lots of rest for ET! Are u doing a 3 or 5 day or does it depend?
Hi!!!
Glad you're feeling OK. When do you get a fert report on your Super 7??
It has been long time no see! I know it is hard to stay positive with such small numbers at ER when you have your hopes set on more, but try not to lose hope. It seems like you have a great outlook already, but good things have come from such small numbers. I have only had 4 eggs at a time retrieved and have made it to transfer the second cycle because of what was learned the first time. The cycle didn't end with a positive, but that was more due what they believe to be the quality of my eggs. Fingers crossed for a great fert report and wishing you all of the best!
Thanks for the positive vibes!
Even though we are not MFI, we opted to do ICSI since we are unexplained and fertilization could still be a problem for us. My RE spoke to DH while I was still asleep and told him that everything went "fantastic" and we will get our fert report tomorrow morning. I'm hoping for an awesome report!!
