I do think it is but I am worried I had an elective at 17w3d and the tech said girl 100% It looks like a girl to me. I have my 20w scan in an hour and I am worried the DR will say boy. I already bought some girl stuff. and I am super excited about a girl

Thats what my girl ultrasound looked like. I know the feeling though, I got worried before every ultrasound after we found out she's a girl (we found out kind of early) that they were going to say "your boy looks healthy!"

It wouldn't but I already have done the boy thing and I loved it but since this is our last baby I wanted to get the chance to have a girl, and I bought some girl stuff after I was hold.

I can not read U/S pictures. I don't have training in them. So either way, it would have been a guess. At least I made it clear that my guess wasn't a real guess.

She actually gave you the pretty common answer for this site. We can't tell better than the tech or the Dr... if there wasn't an arrow for mine I still wouldn't know what it was. I got confused if we were looking at her belly or her head half the time... so go to the Doc and see what he says... don't get all pissy here because we are medical professionals, or you know fortune tellers.

What is the point of saying things like this to other pregnant women?

Isn't the point of a pregnancy form to talk to others and ask questions about things. If all you do is make rude comments to each other this is not a very nice place to be.

I've never heard an ultrasound tech say they are 100% about girl. Almost always they say, well I'm pretty sure but I wouldn't paint the room pink or some think that.

Stay neutral just in case. It's really hard not knowing for SURE.

Thank you to those who answered my question. pregnancy forms are supposed to be place for support. Not a place to act childish.

I will go back to baby center where the women give support and not bad mouth each other because they are not posting here every three minutes.

I try and give other women support when they ask an actual question. I posted a video because I was told a video gives a better Idea over just a picture. and it shows the parts only a few seconds in. no one had to watch it or watch the whole thing.

I don't think it is wrong to expect other moms to not be rude, It's not like I was posting on 4chan. maybe they should call this site PregnantTrolls.com

I would never refer to someones baby as a hedgehog. It is rude maybe if someone said it to you, you wouldn't like it but when it is someone else you get right behind it.

I am leaving this forum. Have fun insulting each other.
