Last appt tomorrow!

Eek! This just got real! I am going to be induced on the 7th so tomorrow is my last appt. How scary/cool is that? Maybe tomorrow she will stir things up a little and get this show on the road. My last appt I was still 2cm and 70% so I'm not real hopeful that he is going to come before the 7th but I can wish right?

Also I'm 10 days from my EDD today. Mathieu came 10 days early so today I'm probably going to be on edge thinking this is it at every little twinge. Goodness I need a good distraction lol.

Mine is tomorrow too! And I will be induced the 5th if she doesnt come!

Im having cramps today so maybe something is getting started! But i have had false labor off and on for over a week.. so maybe its just wishful thinking..

I woke up the other night with pretty intense BH thinking hey this could be the start of something.. then I went pee and nada.. lol! Nothing but pressure and a little cramps since then..

Klilley, good luck at your appt today. Its soo crazy to think 7 days from now our LO"s will be here yet it still seems so far away.

If my DF wouldn't be going out of the country very soon I wouldn't have an end in sight either. I really don't want to be induced but the thought of my DF not being there or having to leave a day or so after leaving me with a newb and toddler is even more scary!

Only 10 more days till our EDD though! They can't stay in there forever!

You don't have to go for pre-op the day before? My rcs is the 7th also but I have to go on the 6th to my OB and the hospital for pre-op. My last official visit is on Thursday but I still have those 2 on Monday

No, I don't even know what that is honestly. I don't even have to do cervical checks. I may get one today just so I know if anything is going on down there. This has been the most basic care pregnancy ever. One dating u/s at 9wks, one a/s at 18 weeks and nothing but blood pressure checks, a few urine dips, fundal height and doppler heart check from there on out.

No, I don't even know what that is honestly. I don't even have to do cervical checks. I may get one today just so I know if anything is going on down there. This has been the most basic care pregnancy ever. One dating u/s at 9wks, one a/s at 18 weeks and nothing but blood pressure checks, a few urine dips, fundal height and doppler heart check from there on out.

Pre-op is usually done before any major surgery. They check your vitals and weight, do bloodwork and go over all your medical records, details of the surgery and instructions for preparing for surgery.

I got the paperwork when we scheduled the RCS telling me when to be there, how far in advance I needed to fast, etc. I have to be at the hospital a few hours before my surgery, so maybe that's when they'll do it? It's cs#3 for me and I don't remember doing it any differently with the other 2.
