My belly button area hurts SO much today. This has been happening off and on, and I've talked to my OB about it -- it's normal and not helped by a fibroid I have in the same area plus an umbilical hernia. The only thing I can do is Tylenol and and ice pack -- but when I use an ice pack, she kicks, and it hurts more. Honestly, it is so debilitating and it brings me to tears from the pain and feeling sorry for myself. Doesn't help matters that I insisted on walking around the farmers market this morning, and totally overdid it. I hate this -- it may be normal, but it makes me feel like I'm the only pregnant lady suffering like this. And it totally freaks DH out, which then just annoys me b/c I don't have the energy to console him.
Whaaaaaa!! :-(.
Just needed to do some public whining.

Ouch! That sounds horrible.
Whine away...I am amazed by all the crazy pains and weird feelings pregnancy brings about. I wish these were more discussed. Those happy, glowing, dancing yet hugely pregnant ladies on TV and in ads must be on some drugs or something.
