darn it!! They just changed my C Section!

I just got a call that they are pushing it back a day due to the docs schedule that morning...that's fine but I'm so freaked out about going into labor and that will be 3 days before my due date! And I really want to have it the Friday before but the hospital won't schedule 8 days out...only 7!  And I'm measuring a week ahead! I guess it just really scares me due to my experience last time around.

(Two visits ago they said the 28th was fine, and then last visit she said the 1st and today the 2nd and a few hours later the 3rd! Maybe by the then I will be having her at Thanksgiving!)

    Can you please tell me about your experience last time so I can freak myself out even more than I already am?  I had a c-section the first time around after 18 hours of labor that stalled at 4cm.  I scheduled it this time...for 39w3d.  I'm also worried about going into labor early because I'm measuring 2 weeks (!!) ahead. 

    So...do tell what your experience was last time.

    It was not the normal situation and I get that but we decided we were happy with one after that and this baby is a surprise!

    Good call.  :-)  No need to worry the new mama's for no reason.  And really I'm nervous enough to go into labor early anyway.

    My Dr had originally told me that we would schedule mine 10-14 days ahead and then at my last appointment she said that the hospitals had changed the rules and they couldn't schedule more than 7 days ahead unless it was deemed medically necessary. I didn't have a great experience the first time around either and am worried about going into labor too. At my last appointment I was measuring 2 weeks ahead. Here's hoping everything goes according to plan for all us RCS Mommas.
