March 2013 Moms

*Echo*

Well, I guess I'll say hi and introduce myself again, since I got nothing but an echo on my last post.  Was it because I mentioned that I posted on a different board first?  Whoops...

1st pregnancy, unplanned but ecstatic, over 35 (in fact, just turned 36 yesterday) but I don't think I'm "high risk", married for 3 years - together for 10.5... ummm, what else... live in NH, work in MA...  Feeling good so far, just the regular symptoms.  Have had 1st appt, but my first sonogram is a week from today.

Anyway, glad to be here!  I waited a while because wasn't sure of due date, but I like March, so I'm sticking with it.  Plus, hubby and I are Irish, so it'll be cool to have a little lucky baby!

  • Welcome! Where in NH? I used to live in Cheshire County.
  • Southern NH, towards the seacoast, right on the MA border :)

Cool :) I know that area well. DH's family founded a lot of the towns over there. I really miss living in NH :)

  • Yeah, it's a nice area. :)  Close to the coast, but not too far for a day trip to the mountains or to Boston.  I wouldn't mind living further north, though.  My DH and I sometime refer to our area as "Massahampshire" or "Newchusetts".  Lol...

lol Yea, that was one of our favorite things about living there... we were so close to everything, despite being in the middle of nowhere. We could take a day trip to Boston or the White Mountains or Hampton.
