  • I love to read, and I'm not sure I have a favorite book. I love Anne of Green Gables, so that's one.
I am currently reading 1, 2, 3 Magic. It's too early to use with Lucia but the oldest girl I nanny just turned 2 and is ready to start having some consequences. The terrible 2s are here!

  • I have so many! Let's see..

Series: Anita Blake; Vampire Hunter and Merry Gentry; Faerie Series - Both by Laurell K Hamilton, Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, House of Night Series by P.C and Kristin Cast, Harry Potter series, In Dead Series by J.D Robb which is Nora Roberts alias, any trilogy by Nora Roberts. Those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Currently Reading: Hunger Games. I got the series for Mother's Day and I've only made it through chapters 1 and 2. I even broke my own rule and watched the movie before reading the book!

  • Oh, I love so many... Hunger Games, HP and pretty much anything by Jodi Picoult, Kristin Hannah, Nicholas Sparks... gosh, I could go on all day.

I'm currently reading Matched by Ally Condie.  It's something I thought my daughter (14) might be into since she loved Hunger Games, so I wanted to check it out first.  So far, so good!

    Favorites:  She's Come Undone; d!

One of my favorites as well! All time favorite is Jane Eyre, and I also adore The Time Traveler's Wife (couldn't bring myself to watch the cheesy romantic abomination that I hear was the film version). I am currently reading (and enjoying) The Art of Fielding - and I just finished Gone Girl (obsessed - couldn't put it down).

  • As far as series go, I love several mystery writers: P.D. James, Kate Atkinson, Louise Penny, Jacqueline Winspear. Funny that Molly mentioned Anne of GG, I'm re-reading all of those on my phone during night feedings. Otherwise, right now, I'm trying to catch up on magazines to de-clutter. So many books I want to read, though....

Matched is awesome! I loved it. I want to get the second one, but they didn't have it at my second hand book store.

Oh yes!  LOVE Time Traveler's Wife.  Definitely one of my favorite books of all time.  I actually did enjoy the movie on that one, too, though.  It was way different from the book (from what I remember... it's been a couple years since I've seen it), but it was still entertaining.

Loooooooved The Uglies series! I read them 3 years ago! I think it's a great teen lot ESP if read in class. There is so much discussion about society and you can easily tie in some actual history of countries that attempted to control their people etc. kinda like Hunger Games. Alternative societies but can hopefully spark good discussions for teens!

  • Ooh fun!

I'm not even sure I can pick a favorite book. I really loved Eat Pray Love, I think I may need to read that one again. However, I love everything from The Shining (I think I've read it 4 times) to Great Expectations (Also read several times). I have a degree in English Literature so this is hard for me!

Currently I'm reading The Night Circus.

I love the Sookie Stackhouse series - better than the TV show, but i like that too. I also loved Hunger Games series, and anything brainless such as the Shopaholic series, or anything by Emily Giffin.

Not reading anything right now, but I have the new Sookie Stackhouse on my Kindle ready to go, as well as a few mags to catch up on. Thankfully we're going to the cottage this weekend, so my mom can play wiht DD while I read!

Try the Delirium series. It's a similar theme to Matched, but better written/more interesting. At a certain age, everyone has to undergo a surgery to remove the emotion love.

First, that made me LOL. Second, I'm exactly the same way. I can never name a favorite anything.

However, Neil Gaiman IS my favorite author, no question.

Currently I am reading the Baby Whisperer book (meh). Before that I was reading A Series of Unfortunate events, because they are short and easy, and I could finish one a day, even with an extroverted baby who needs to know I am staring at him/ talking to him at all times.
