Locations for a 1st birthday party

It's a bit soon to really start planning, but I started thinking about DD's 1st birthday party.

Here's the problem- I live in a very small house. When I have parties for my son (born in May), it's not a problem because most often people are outside. However, my daughter was born January 11, and I have started to think about her 1st birthday party. Even if I just invite family, I'm still looking at a little over 30 people. It will be so cramped in my house that no one will be able to move. :(

I don't want anything over the top or fancy, but what are some ideas for a winter birthday party rental space? I have 10 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 1- 8, so I will need a space for something for them to do too. BUT I want the focus on my 1 year old- does that make sense??

I live in the Kenwood/ Blue Ash area. Any ideas??

TIA!

  • Recreation Outlet is super fun.  There is one in Milford that does parties.  However, it is still a little old for your DD but would be perfect for the other kids.
