Well, now this is interesting... Cycling in August after all?

I didn't have time to post yesterday because my RE called just as I was going out for the night...
Well, my beta is still 2.5, even after having my period so my RE said I can start BCPs. I thought that we were completely out of contention for cycling in August because it's already late July. But we counted out the days and if I take BCPs for 10 days and get AF between 3 and 5 days after I finish them, then I can cycle in mid-August.
Do you thinks we are rushing? I don't want to cycle if it's not going to be ideal conditions, but if we're able to do it, of course I want to!
What do you ladies think?
