and I finally feel comfortable! Most of the maternity dresses I bought early on started to look way too short, and while I really didn't want to add to my wardrobe at this point, I realized it was going to be a long 6-7 weeks otherwise. So I raided the clearance racks at Old Navy and am the proud owner of a maternity sundress, a maternity maxi skirt, a non-maternity maxi dress that I foresee myself wearing a lot post-baby too and an extra shrug. Combined with the pieces I already had that still fit, I now can now put together enough comfy, yet cute outfits to get me through the work weeks (thank goodness for casual Fridays!)

This sounds like my store too. It sucks! I picked up a few things at Target last week because I was getting mad that all my casual stuff was finally too short. I should be good on work clothes, but I am on a 6 day rotation so laundry is very important.

I feel your pain! Every week I outgrow more stuff. Even my super comfy yoga shorts are getting uncomfortably tight. I am a SAHM, so I don't have to worry about looking professional, but I do want to look okay, you know?
I have this dress someone gave me that is really comfy but way too big. I'm wondering if I'm going to end up wearing nothing but that dress in public for my last few weeks.
A lot of nursing tops are long enough to be worn as maternity too! I'm wearing one from Target today.
I've been going back and forth - almost caving because I'm sick of having exactly one outfit for each day of the work week... yeah, 1st world problems, I know... but sometimes it would be nice to be able to spontaneously pick out a new outfit in the morning instead of monday... blue dress. Tuesday - green dress. Wednesday - Gray dress. etc.
So this weekend I went with my husband to the mall (he plays Warhammer 40k at the gaming place, lol) and walked around looking for deals. Lo and behold, Belk was having awesome clearance sales. I was able to pick up two lightweight cotton (non-maternity but flowy) dresses for $10 each. So psyched!
Sometimes, I'm hilarious.
