Our baby is 8 weeks old. She sleeps in her Rock and Play in her room. We swaddle her for sleep. She is not a fan of the swaddle, but sleeps better swaddled. We use the SwaddleMe Blankets.
Her goal is to try to break out of the swaddle in the night. She is a very "active" baby and is constantly moving. So with all the moving in the night she continually moves the swaddle blanket up around her face.
We have a video monitor and my poor husband is up all night because he is continually checking to make sure her face is not covered which it is often.
We have tried the Halo Sleepsacks and found a similar problem as she kind of sinks into it and it again covers her mouth.
If she slept in her crib it probably wouldn't be a problem because she wouldn't be sleeping at an incline where she can slip into the blanket or sack. She has reflux so she doesn't like sleeping flat.
So any suggestions you may have are welcome! We just want her to sleep swaddled, but no matter how much she moves - it doesn't cover her mouth and nose.
