We're having babies next month!!!  Ahhhhh!!!!!!!  Surprise

Re: :+:IG:+:

  • OMG I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm starting to stress about the little details....medicine - car seats - having lots of casseroles premade.  This whole Christmas in the middle of being 8 - 9 months pregnant is rather inconvenient - there are too many other things to do! ;)   I jest...but really....I'm starting to feel like I have too many errands and not enough time!

How did your appointment go yesterday - did Jer Majesty turn?

  • I am definitely stressing about the details!  Luckily I dont have very many Christmas duties so it isn't really adding to my stress at all.

My appointment yesterday was no good, not only has my little guy NOT turned yet, but I gained 5 POUNDS since my last appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago!!

So now I have to hope that my insurance covers acupuncture, because I really want a version to be a last resort in turning this baby.

  • I don't even know what a version is....but it doesn't sound good!

I do know that my mom said when she went into labor with me, I flipped at the last minute and they were able to turn me (and the nurse had to LAY across my mom's tummy to keep me from flipping again) and everything turned out okay with no C section...

  • A version is where the doctor pushes on your tummy to try and get the baby to move into position.  They dont do it until 37 weeks because it can cause problems with the cord and the placenta and sometimes they end in emergency c-sections that day...

The problem now a days is that if there is any one little thing wrong youre almost forced into a C-section.  No doctors want to wait to 40 weeks for the baby to flip on his own *just in case* I go into labor with him still in the wrong position..  Its kind of frustrating, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it.
