Cold meds that are safe to take?

LO gave me a cold that he caught from the lady who watches him while I'm at work. He seems to be doing much better than me!!

Anyway what can I take to relieve this stuffiness and congestion? I used to always take sudafed but I have read that can kill your milk supply. I took one dose of it last night because I was desperate and I'm pumping slightly less today. I don't know if it's a fluke or do to the meds but I ain't taking anymore of it.

    Make sure you drink lots of water! If you can't take sudafed, that's probably your best bet. Or get a neti pot (make sure you use distilled water or boiled water, not water straight from the tap).

    They gave me an inhaled antihistamine when I was so congested a month or so ago. It's approved in pregnancy and it didn't affect my supply at all. Made me sleepy as hell so I only took it at night. I can't remember the name of it though and the bottle is at home... Sad
